clavis MAC manages Moen’s MAC-Addresses
As the #1 faucet brand in North America, Moen offers a diverse selection of thoughtfully designed kitchen and bath faucets, showerheads, accessories, bath safety products, garbage disposals and kitchen sinks for residential and commercial applications.
For Flo by Moen, an innovative product in the SmartHome area, the requirement was to marry the serial number with a MAC address in the SAP system. clavisMAC was the right add-on for this. It manages the acquired MAC addresses in hexadecimal number ranges, takes the next available MAC address for each serial number and communicates the MAC address to the subsystem in production, where it is finally burned on the circuit board. Both objects are stored in a customer-specific table. This way the MAC address can be related to the corresponding product at any time.
In shortest time, across three continents and many time zones, clavisMAC was implemented at Moen, individually adapted and set productive: clavisMAC was introduced simultaneously at Moen in the USA and China.
