Occupational Safety: an Issue for Every Company

According to §5 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA / Arbeitsschutzgesetz) the employer is obligated to assess potentials hazards for an employee at his/her workplace. As a consequence all necessary measures are to be determined, to ensure the safety of employees, plant and environment. That means, every employer / every company must

  • evaluate activity-based hazards for the employees,
  • take appropriate protection measures,
  • and verify their effectiveness
