Better performance and contemporary design with UI5 and PHP<\/h2>\n\n

The Control-of-Work (CoW) web application developed by clavis, which has been in successful and trouble-free use at BP Gelsenkirchen for years, has been given a modern architecture, including a new front end. a new front-end. The CoW application with an interface to the ERP system is used by contractors for the standardized creation of activity-related risk assessments. The CoW is available in two versions – one for day-to-day business (DW – Daily Work) and another during downtime processing (TAR – Turn Around).<\/p>\n\n

As they did not want to migrate to the cloud with the existing system architecture for reasons of transformation, we modernized the back-end within 3 months and converted the framework in the front-end of CodeIgniter with the SAP-related OpenUI5. This gave the intuitive application a contemporary and responsive design. The colorful design of the buttons and icons give the user a quick overview of the open points of his risk assessment. Furthermore, the performance of the application has been significantly improved and security has been significantly increased. <\/p>\n\n

For the implementation of the new CoW application, including development and migration to the cloud of the two variants DW and TAR, we stayed within budget in terms of costs and time. The tried-and-tested CoW application is now available to BP Gelsenkirchen<\/a> ‘s contractors from the cloud, virtually at any time (24\/7). <\/p>\n\n
