End of maintenance for SAP Mobile Platform (SMP)

SAP has announced the end of maintenance for the SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) on November 30, 2022.
As of December 1, 2022, the SMP will no longer be maintained, but productive use will remain permitted. Thus, users of the SMP can continue to use their applications, but should look for a replacement for the mobile platform in the future. The SAP Mobile Services Client is not an alternative, as SAP has also announced the end of maintenance for this on August 31, 2023.
A current alternative is SAP Mobile Services as part of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The SAP BTP is a cloud-based platform that offers SAP users various functions and services for data management, analytics, system integration and the possibility of enhancements.
