Disable MS Word as text editor for SAP Smart Forms

Microsoft Word is used as the internal editor in S/4HANA. If you want to change or create something in SAP Smart Forms, for example, Word opens as an external window. In our example, the written text was displayed vertically and was not transferred to the SAP system.

 

 

In diesem Fall ist es sinnvoll, Microsoft Word als Texteditor zu deaktivieren, in dem mal die Word-Optionen öffnet und den obersten Punkt im Reiter "Allgemein" auf "Für Kompatibilität optimieren" einstellt.

 

 

Nach erneutem öffnen der Transaktion sollte sich im Editor kein Word Fenster öffnen und die Bearbeitung funktioniert wieder wie gewohnt im System.
