With clavisWebcatalog you now provide your sales team and your technical field staff with an efficient support tool: Per mouse-click the fast web application displays the complete actual stocks of all products in your SAP system. Thus the field staff can tell a customer directly on-site e.g. about prices and delivery periods of spare parts. The sales staffs are enabled to inform the customer about promotion offers based on stock on hand and to grant individual conditions .
Various features allow for an extremely user friendly application:
- Products can be selected by lots of different characteristics, e.g., all articles of a product group can be displayed including weight, price and stock on hand
- Combined queries and multiple selections are available just as with SAP
- The presentation of the result lists is customisable individually
- Optionally the result list is output as PDF document or Excel file
Complete Integration into Order Workflow
If your customer is interested in a product, an offer can be created directly from the application according to the SAP offer create function and successively be transferred to the SAP system. Additionally the offer can be printed as PDF file or sent per email. Subsequently the offer will be converted into an order smoothly within the common SAP workflow.
High Performance and Optimal Connectivity
clavisWebcatalog is technically based upon AJAX, a composite of JavaScript, PHP and XML. This improves performance substantially compared to a WebDynpro framework. The system can be installed in combination with all common data bases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server etc.). Fields available for product characteristics are selected individually during setup and can be customised with low effort. clavisWebcatalog uses the same languages that are generated in the SAP system – the language administration is also part of the setup. For security and comfort reasons, the user administration can be linked to the SAP system.
